| I am committed to creating heirloom quality works of art and function. I am a master finisher with over 20 years of professional experience. Which isn't really relevant here except that I am a very visually oriented person. Oregon Rain Sticks are created purely from my aesthetic love of domestic and exotic hardwoods. The exact species and combinations change with my interests or with whatever new and interesting piece of wood I've acquired. Under normal circumstances I would happily build you an Oregon Rain Stick to your specifications. However I am currently inbetween studio spaces and am not currently accepting any commissions. Although I normally use commercially available Birch hardwood dowels, I do have the capacity to custom make dowels in a variety of species.
